€ 99.987Exposure to pollutants is harmful and can cause detrimental effects in early life. Yet, little is known about the presence of black carbon particles in human breast milk. I aim to investigate exposure routes of black carbon to infants. I will study the transfer of particles in an in vitro setting and will explore if breast milk is an exposure route of these particles in an epidemiological study. My goal is to provide vital information to protect children as early as possible in their life.
