Award ceremony - Laureates 2022 of the Funds for health research

What is it about?
The King Baudouin Foundation is currently managing over 100 Funds for health research, most of them created by individuals or families. Those Funds support scientific medical projects or grant fellowships to top-level researchers in the domain of health. The projects are selected by independent juries, made of Belgian and/or international experts.
On 5 October 2023 , H.R.H. Princess Astrid will honnour the laureates awarded in 2022.
In 2022, a total amount of 6,6 million euro was granted to projects and researchers in various domains in health, such as neurology, cardiology, oncology, rheumatology, rare diseases, etc.
This financial support represents an important recognition of the researcher’s work and gives them the motivation and opportunity to carry on their research career.
