In 2016, 21 % of Belgian households were affected by energy poverty. The fourth Energy Poverty Barometer for Belgian households gives data by region and an analysis of trends

What is it about?
In 2016, 14.5% of Belgian households devoted too large a part of their income on energy bills. To this can be added a further 4.3% of households who limit their energy consumption. Single-person households and single-parent families are the most affected. The barometer presents the data by Region and analyses the trends.
