Support
€ 125,000The Invicta Fund supports three WWF projects to improve the conservation of endangered habitats and the survival of wildlife in three continents:
- In Ecuador (Latin America), women are being trained to supervise eco- and scientific tourism in the Llanganates-Sangay ecological corridor, which is essential for biodiversity;.
- In Cambodia (Asia), a pilot study is underway to detect large herbivores (ungulates and elephants) through drone heat detection; and in the great Mekong forests (Southeast Asia), elephant migration patterns are being mapped to reduce human-elephant conflicts.
- Around Sioma Ngwezi National Park in Zambia (Africa), human-elephant conflict is being addressed through practical measures.
