What is it about?
The environment and human health are closely linked: on the one hand, the degradation of the natural environment can have serious consequences for human physical and mental health. On the other hand, it is precisely the environment and nature that can contribute to an improved health.
Fund Orcadia wishes to contribute to research into the interactions between health and the environment.
How?
By supporting talented young researchers in launching their scientific careers through 18-month research grants
By supporting applied research with strong impact for actors and professionals in the field dealing with issues linked to the environment and health
In addition, the Fund may grant occasional support to initiatives of general interest or to any philanthropic organisation, on the recommendation of the Founders.
