Philanthropic action

As a donor, would you like to support a particular project of common interest or a specific organisation?

If so, then a philanthropic action is ideal, irrespective of whether the donation is large or more modest. This tool is very flexible, very fast and it reduces administration to the absolute minimum.

Philanthropic action has a duration of one year, although this may be extended at the request of the initiator.

The philanthropic action is set up after approval from the King Baudouin Foundation’s Local Philanthropy Committee. The Foundation takes care of the administrative and financial management of the philanthropic action.

The donor commits to donating to the philanthropic action donations of a minimum of 10,000 euros every 12 months. The King Baudouin Foundation is authorised to deduct each year 5% of the donations received to finance its own activities. This percentage is degressive for cumulative donations amounting to a total of over 100,00 euros.

Donations of 40 euros or more made via the King Baudouin Foundation’s account IBAN: BE10 0000 0000 0404 – BIC: GEBABEBB for a philanthropic action benefit from a tax reduction of 45% on the amount effectively transferred and this is mentioned on the tax certificate issued by the Foundation.
