Psychological Assistance to Migrants, War Victims, and Other Victims of Violence
Support
€ 5,000CWWPP’s work is to empower people in communities to deal with the psychological traumas of violence, including the traumas of migration, that is, in the places of origin, along the way, and in the places of destination.
CWWPP does this using the method of Carl Rogers of highly participatory groups, using people’s own experience and working in conjunction with their needs and desires, usually for about 1-2 hours per week, usually online, including working with people, self-care, communication, basic psychology, non-violent conflict transformation, and human rights.
CWWPP is also developing the content of the work into self-paced online courses, and is now also producing podcasts, all of this in an effort to spread the knowledge as widely as possible.
CWWPP is working in a number of countries in Africa, in Croatia, in Germany, in Turkey, and in Guatemala.
