Equal Chances

Promote equality in the Belgian education system.

In a fair democracy, every young person should get the opportunity to develop, grow and find their path in life. Education can act as a major lever to achieve this, but unfortunately, our education system is one of the most unequal in the EU and among OECD countries.

The mission of this programme is to achieve greater equality in the Belgian education system. To do so, we bolster the actions of organisations pursuing the same goal. On top of that, we support individuals and organisations who help ensure that social inequality no longer automatically leads to inequality in education. After all, every child has the right to the same ambitions and dreams for the future.

Equal chances in brief

  • We support organisations that ensure every single child and every single young person gets every opportunity to find their path in life.
