actors for ‘light’ infrastructure projects (schools, hospitals, etc.) and
initiatives that meet basic community needs.
The Kitumaini Fund aims to help the people of Central Africa, particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo, to take charge of their own development. It participates in the financing of projects led by local actors for the construction or renovation of light infrastructure (schools, hospitals, social centers, markets, etc.) and any initiative that responds to the basic needs of communities (mutual health insurance, agricultural production, etc.).
